was there a sporting event of some kind today? i don't own a television.went to see "a single man" at the art theatre, one of those movies that would be hard to describe because it follows the life of a man for one day, and is sort of quietly moving and doesn't really sink in until you're at home, typing up your homework assignments and listening to its original score and wanting to watch it again, to inhabit its colors and sounds, even its moments of quiet anguish. i guess you'd call that a recommendation.
