hipster dollhouse lounge

my favorite of all war strategies:

zombie lincoln:

the museum was an excellent primer for america's birthday celebration

locks of presidential hair:

there was a delicious intermission for indian food in the adams morgan area, then a walk back to the mall area

these hats were everywhere, on the heads of true patriots:

we took a lot of pictures of (freedom) garbage

a giant screen on a giant crane, featuring a tiny singer

the melted chocolate of liberty

there were some fireworks in there too, and cannons, and dancing children, and a woman swooning over jimmy smits, but such phenomena are difficult to photograph.
